@ Eastside

Friday, Jan. 6, Suwannee traveled to Gainesville to take on Eastside. This game was a tough game for our ‘Dogs. Eastside scored the first goal of the game within six minutes with a shot that was unstoppable - a high shot up and over the goalies reach and in the back of our goal. The ‘Dogs kept fighting and changed several of the attempts that Eastside thought would be their goals. The last six minutes of the game Grace Brett was able to kick the ball up and over Eastside’s players where Amber Morgan was able to finish the goal off. Suwannee had many great plays that were unfortunately interrupted by the Eastside defensive team. Eastside wins the game 5-1.

Suwannee Lady ‘Dogs finish the season 9-5-3. They are now preparing for districts which will be housed at Suwannee on Jan. 16. At this time we do not know who Suwannee will be playing.
