Suwannee High graduate Trysten Hill was taken in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys on Friday.
Hill, a 2016 SHS graduate, became the sixth Bulldog to be selected in the NFL Draft and the first since Kelly Jennings went in the 2006 first round.
A defensive tackle, Hill played at the University of Central Florida the past three seasons. He had 15 tackles, including five TFL and one sack, as a freshman. Hill registered 20 tackles as a sophomore and was named to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Second Team Defense.
In his final collegiate season, Hill recorded three sacks and 36 tackles.
The Cowboys picked Hill with the 58th overall pick, the 26th of the second round.
