CROSS CITY — The Branford High football team had a strong showing in Saturday's spring football jamboree, beating Bell 6-0 and defeating Dixie County 6-0.

Quarterback Kyson Johnson threw two long touchdown passes, both going to Colton Leibold. He hit Leibold for a 48-yard TD against Bell and a 56-yard score against DCHS.

It was also a big game for the Bucs’ defense with Junior Cress, Dakota Hamm, Matt Warren, Zach Lebrun and Brock Lewis leading the way.

Cress, Warren and Hamm contributed with sacks and tackles for losses. Lebrun forced a fumble that Lewis recovered.
