WHITE SPRINGS — The President of the Four Rivers Audubon Society is visiting the White Springs Library later this month to discuss bird gardens.
Jacqui Sulek, with the Four Rivers Audubon Society and also a member of the Florida Native Plant Society’s Sparkleberry Chapter, will present a program on attracting birds to one’s garden at 1:30 p.m. April 15. Also in April, the White Springs branch of the Suwannee River Regional Library System is hosting a snap circuits makerspace on April 10 and April 24, both starting at 4 p.m. Those interested can hang out at the library at that time, playing with educational toys and discovering how electricity works with sirens, lights and sounds.
On April 29, Tammy Watson with USH Health will be at the library from 3-4 p.m. to present about USF Health insurance services. The USF College of Public Health assists individuals and families with enrolling in health care coverage programs, such as the Health Insurance Marketplace, Florida Kidcare and Medicaid.
The seed library is open every Monday from 1-3 p.m. with seeds available to be checked out as well as a Master Gardener being on hand to answer any gardening questions.
The library’s Teen Drama Group meets Tuesdays at 3 p.m. with the Anime Club meeting at 4 p.m.
