LIVE OAK — It’s one of the best musical events in North Florida and Ted “TeddyMac Elvis” McMullen’s Christmas with Elvis & Friends is coming to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this weekend.

Artists performing are Keith Thrift as Conway Twitty, Dale Bennett as Loretta Lynn, Penny Hannah as Wynonna Judd, Calvin Smart as Johnny Cash, Leamon Nipper as Merle Haggard, Texanna as Patsy Cline, Diane Johnston as Lorrie Morgan, Bobby Long as Willie Nelson, Trese Hill as Tammy Wynette, Kathy Stafford as Shania Twain and Anthony O’Neal as John Anderson. And yes, “TeddyMac Elvis” will take the stage for a one-hour performance in Elvis attire.

Ladies (and often gentlemen), be prepared to purchase a rose to present to favorite artists throughout this incredible evening.

The annual event fills the Music Hall and is truly one of those “do not miss” events. Friday is the pre-party from 7–10 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner. Artists performing will take the stage in casual attire all evening, including Ted McMullen. These artists will bring beautiful music during this pre-party that gets everyone ready for the Saturday night show. Saturday the stage will be beautifully decorated and performers dressed to perfection.

The Saturday show gets underway at 6 p.m. in the Music Hall and ends at 10 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. for dinner. These much-loved performers who have performed all across North Florida and South Georgia for more than a decade have a huge fan base of old country and Elvis fans who flock to the SOSMP to hear their favorite singers and enjoy the family-like atmosphere of these shows.

As the evening winds down on Saturday, Ted takes the stage about 9 p.m. as an Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA). It seems as if the beloved Elvis Presley has returned for this one special night to perform for his adoring fans. “TeddyMac” makes his way through many, many of Elvis’ hits during his performance in the perfect Elvis costume in red, blue or white. No matter the color, the performance is always a treasured memory for the audience as TeddyMac gets on his knees while singing and kissing his fans who bring those beautiful red roses to their ETA. As the end to the evening nears, do not dare leave the building. The very last song is one you have to hear and watch as this dedicated audience automatically rises when it begins and stands in reverence through this beloved song and performance.
