LIVE OAK — Suwannee County’s legislative delegation will meet for its annual hearing later this month.
The legislative delegation hearing is set for Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. at the Live Oak City Hall, which is located at 101 White Ave. SE.
The county’s legislative delegation includes Rep. Chuck Brannan (R-Macclenny), the chairman of the delegation, and Sen. Rob Bradley (R-Fleming Island).
The delegation holds a public hearing each year prior to the start of the session to provide an opportunity for local residents, government officials and other interested parties to present legislative proposals, make funding requests or express opinions on state issues.
“Senator Bradley and I look forward to hearing from members of the community in Suwannee County as we develop our legislative priorities for the 2020 Session,” Brannan said in a release.
That session convenes Jan. 14, 2020.
