LIVE OAK — Make plans now for one of the biggest weekends in the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park’s Music Hall when Ted “Teddy Mac Elvis” McMullen and his group puts on a Legends Show June 21 and then Prince Pele and his Polynesian Review dancers, singers and musicians will bring a fabulous show to remember with Teddy Mac Elvis as Elvis in Aloha Hawaii!
Tickets for The Legends Show only are $11; Tickets for Teddy Mac Presents Aloha Hawaii are $18. A weekend ticket for both nights is $25. Advance ticket sales end at noon June 21.
Friday, June 21, kicks off this big weekend with the Ted McMullen Legends Show featuring Keith Thrift as Conway Twitty, Penny Hannah as Wynona Judd, Leamon Nipper as Merle Haggard, Bobby Long as Willie Nelson, Texanna as Patsy Cline, Karen Black as Karen Carpenter, Dale Bennett as Loretta Lynn, Calvin Smart as Johnny Cash, Diane Johnston as Lorrie Morgan, Trese Hill as Tammy Wynette and Anthony O’Neal as John Anderson. Ted McMullen will be the emcee.
Saturday, June 22, Ted McMullen presents Aloha Hawaii with Prince Pele’s Polynesian Review featuring Ted as Elvis in Aloha Hawaii. This special night features leis for all guests, and Prince Pele’s show of Polynesian dancers, singers and musicians who will present a beautiful event rarely seen in North Florida. They made their debut locally last year in the Music Hall to thunderous applause and many requests to return as they performed Hawaiian dances and music. Ted McMullen as Elvis is always a treat but especially on this night when he sings songs from Elvis’ show in Hawaii that was the first live satellite concert to feature a single performer, according to Wikipedia.org.
There will also be a contest to determine the King and Queen at this fun and beautiful event.
