LIVE OAK — Suwannee County parents and community members will have three chances in the next week to provide input into the school district’s school configuration plans.
The Suwannee County School District is hosting listening sessions Tuesday, Thursday and Aug. 20, all from 6-7:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s first listening session will be held at the Suwannee Primary School cafeteria, with Thursday’s set for the cafeteria at Suwannee Elementary School.
The third public input session will be held at the Suwannee Intermediate School cafeteria.
The three schools are going to be reconfigured starting with next school year into Pre-K to fifth grade 21st Century schools of choice following a vote of the school board in June.
Suwannee Primary is currently Pre-K through first grade, while SES is second and third grades and SIS is fourth and fifth grades.
