A cyclist pedaling home from work was shot at three times in December by a Live Oak woman attempting to “scare him,” according to a Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office report.
On Monday, Dec. 1, at about 1 a.m., Alice Faye Musgrove, 72, 3403 CR 795, Live Oak, allegedly fired three shots at a cyclist on the road, the first shot hitting some foliage 20 feet in front of the victim. The victim stated he heard the second shot go over his head and the third shot striking 30 feet behind him, causing him to fear for his life, according to the SCSO report.
Musgrove freely admitted to SCSO Corporal Tommy Roberts that she had shot two rounds into the ground to “scare the victim.”
Musgrove was arrested and booked into the Suwannee County Jail on Friday, Jan. 16, on one count of aggravated assault/discharge of a firearm. The case is still under active investigation.
