US 90 wreck

Nobody was injured in a multi-vehicle wreck Monday morning on U.S. Highway 90.

HOUSTON — Nobody was injured in a four-vehicle wreck Monday morning on U.S. Highway 90 east of Live Oak.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, three of the vehicles were stopped in the westbound lane of U.S. 90 while waiting for someone to turn left onto 73rd Drive around 8 a.m. when a Chevrolet Blazer rear-ended a Chevrolet Silverado.

That collision then caused a chain reaction in which the Silverado hit another Silverado, which hit a Ford F750, the FHP report states.

None of the four drivers — Shayne Burnett (42 of Live Oak), Michael Brittain (36 of Lake City), David Hogan (42 of Wellborn) or Jeffery Wood (61 of Live Oak) — were injured in the wreck, nor was 40-year-old Toby Anasasio, of Live Oak, a passenger in Hogan’s Silverado.

Burnett has been charged with careless driving.
