MAYO — Christmas in Toyland arrived in Mayo on Saturday.

The town’s annual Christmas festival was held throughout Town Park.

Vendors were welcomed to pay admission for their vendor fee in the payment of a toy, which would be collected to hand out this holiday season to children in need.

Hot chocolate and chili were for sale within Town Park as a fundraising effort for the Lafayette County Activities Group.

The Christmas parade concluded the festivities and featured several floats, as well as the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office, Lafayette County Fire Department and Lafayette County EMS.
