LIVE OAK — The Live Oak Police Department will be providing residents a chance to learn more about law enforcement.
The LOPD’s annual Citizens Police Academy is set to start Sept. 24 at the police station at 205 White Ave. SE. The academy lasts for eight weeks and will also include classes at other locations.
Through the academy, residents are able to learn more about law enforcement and the criminal justice system “up close and personal.”
There is a $20 registration fee that is paid along with one’s application.
