Live Oak will soon have two new places to eat. Cowboy's Barbecue will be moving into the old Robinson's restaurant located beside the railroad tracks on U.S. 129 North. Cowboy's will offer good country barbecue with all the fixings. You can either take your food with you or sit at one of the picnic tables located outside the building. Mayor Sonny Nobles said he "welcomes new business into the city and gets very excited about it bringing economic prosperity."

The old R. L.'s Steakhouse will soon be the Bulldog Endzone. Owner Amelia Durden is proud of the new restaurant and is eager to serve the community.

Bulldog Endzone will offer a varied menu with fresh mullet on Thursdays. You can enjoy the atmosphere inside the restaurant in either the sports bar or dining area, or you can dine outdoors.

Local resident Tammy Stapleton seemed pleased by the new additions. "We need more family-oriented and casual places to eat," she said.
