A cold front moving into the area may bring scattered thunderstorms into the area tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a slight chance of showers before 9 p.m., with a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms heading into the overnight hours. The low tonight will be in the high 50s.
Today will be partly sunny with a high near 79. The south winds will be blowing between six and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
There is a 40 percent chance of showers on Friday, otherwise partly sunny with an expected high in the low 70s and an overnight low of 42 degrees the NWS reported.
The weekend forecast from the NWS is clear with a high of 72 on Saturday with westerly winds between four and seven mph and 68 degrees on Sunday. Overnights are expected to be in the low 40s.
The NWS predicts the overnight low on Sunday to get into the low 30s with the possibility of patchy frost.
