A local woman was injured in a single vehicle crash December 16, according to Florida Highway Patrol reports. Sharon B. Amburgey of Live Oak was traveling west on US 90 about three miles east of town when the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer she was driving left the north side of the roadway, said FHP. The vehicle traveled 51 feet and reentered US 90, traveling an additional 139 feet before overturning on its left side, at which point it slid 86 feet and traveled back off the north shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle then continued forward onto the shoulder for an additional 105 feet before overturning and stopping upright facing east on the north shoulder of the roadway.

Amburgey suffered serious injuries, say reports, but an update on her condition was not available at press time.
