LIVE OAK — Two South Georgia bands will rock the Music Hall at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park this weekend.
Getting the weekend underway Friday is Jukebox Oldies, a veteran Valdosta 50-90s band with many fans at the SOSMP. This band provides music from all genres for dancing and listening pleasure. Jukebox Oldies is well-known at the SOSMP, and its members love to please fans. Jukebox Oldies Band loves to play AM radio hits, primarily from the 60s. A few from the 50s–90s are also on the play list. The band’s influences are the Beatles, BB King, Buddy Holly, Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison and The Tams.
Soulshine, taking the stage Saturday in the Music Hall, feels right at home after playing at the SOSMP for several years. Playing music from all genres including country, Southern rock and more, this is a jamming band to be enjoyed by all guests. This band, from Fitzgerald, Ga., likes to say it’s the No. 1 party band in the South. Soulshine has been together since 2006 and loves to get folks out on the dance floor.
Doors to the Music Hall open at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday night for dinner. There is free admission both nights.
