LIVE OAK — It's one of the most beautiful times of the year, the holidays are coming, excitement is in the air and the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park will be filled with music, vintage trailers and classic cars this weekend.
Two bands will have folks tapping their feet, dancing, enjoying meeting new friends and delicious food at the SOSMP's Music Hall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The weekend kicks off with the regular Thursday night Karaoke with TeddyMac from 7–10 p.m. in the Music Hall. Doors open Thursday at 5 p.m. for dinner. Admission is free. Ted “TeddyMac Elvis” McMullen takes the stage at 7 p.m. to get folks dancing as he sings beautiful songs from his stage, the TeddyMac Stage.
Friday night is the famous Jukebox Oldies Band of Valdosta, Ga., bringing great oldies music for the audience to enjoy.
Saturday begins with the Vintage Trailer and Classic Car Show, free to the public, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The rally will include a classic car cruise-in. Local classic car enthusiasts are welcome to cruise in starting at 9 a.m, to display their classic cars at no charge. Cars must be in place before 10 a.m.
As the day comes to a close, Sondra Hunt of Lake Butler will be on the Music Hall Stage with her fantastic country band where the dance floor surely will be busy as guests enjoy the company, the music, the food and the atmosphere.
Friday and Saturday doors to the Music Hall open at 6 p.m., music begins at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
