JASPER — The Hamilton County Historical Museum will host a book signing by Jimmy Deas on Saturday.
The signing will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
His books, “A Teachers Gift and Other Stories” and “Ran Like Joseph” will be available for purchase.
Both books contain stories or locations in Jennings and Jasper.
Deas grew up in Jennings and graduated in 1965. After a 36-year career in the ministry, he retired and lives in Live Oak with his wife, Sherry. He continues to preach and write.
The museum is located next to the Jasper Public Library.
