JASPER — A Jasper man was killed Monday in an early-morning wreck on Interstate 75.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Loren Denis Anderson, of Jasper, was driving south on I-75 around 1 a.m. when he lost control of his Ford F-150 at mile marker 454 and drove off the road onto the east shoulder.

The truck hit a guardrail and overturned, striking another vehicle on the interstate, according to FHP’s report.

Anderson was ejected from the truck after the impact and landed on the road where he was hit by two other vehicles.

Anderson was transported to South Georgia Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Nobody else was injured in the crash, which is still under investigation by FHP.
