JASPER — The top honor at the 2019 Hamilton County Fair Events Day went to Mia Goodin.
Goodin received the Ginger Selph Award at the Fair Events Day on Oct. 3 at the Hamilton County Arena for earning the most points during the event. The award honors the memory of Ginger Selph, who was a most enthusiastic participant in all of the events during the early years of Events Day.
Goodin is the daughter of Hal and Cortney Goodin.
Winners during the Swine Show include Aubrey Reppert, grand champion, and Levi Williams, reserve champion.
Alannah Lord won the Junior Record Book competition, followed by Jordan Chauncey and Dustin Lord.
The Senior Record Book winner was Madison Ramsey with Kobe Key the runner-up and Seth Greaves placing third.
Dustin Lord won the Junior Showmanship with Jace Campbell runner-up and Ryleigh Hermanson finishing third.
Reppert won the Senior Showmanship, followed by Ethan Chancey and Christopher Chancey.
