AMERICUS, Ga. — A 23-year-old Camilla man has been charged with aggravated battery in connection with an attack that sent a Moultrie man to the hospital Halloween night.
A Georgia Southwestern College and State University spokeswoman told The Observer Wednesday night that Chason Worsham, 23, of Camilla was arrested that day related to the altercation that injured GSW student Tyler Ellis.
Worsham, who is not a GSW student, is facing felony charges, the spokeswoman said. Four GSW students have been charged with misdemeanors ranging from battery to affray.
Georgia Southwestern would like to thank GSW Campus Police, the Americus Police Department and Chief Mark Scott for their assistance in this case.
