After Suwannee County Fair Association members, along with Suwannee County and City of Live Oak officials, cut the ribbon Friday to open the 104th annual Suwannee County Fair, children have enjoyed the rides and feeding the animals. Art work and photography is also on display at the fair, which runs through Saturday. The steer show occurs tonight along with performances from Twirling by Kary, the Suwannee High drumline and The McCormick’s. For Thursday’s Dollar Night, the Suwannee Elementary chorus will perform as will The Dance Shop and the second night of the Fair Talent Show. The Pee-Wee Dairy Show is also occurring Thursday, followed by the Dairy Show on Friday. Danceology/SHS Dancing Dolls will perform Friday followed by Snake Blood Remedy. The fair finale Saturday will include the Talent Show finals, the demolition derby, the goat show and the Sondra Hunt Band.
