INDIANAPOLIS — At the National FFA Convention, McKayden Wilkerson won the National FFA Agriscience Fair award.
Her project showed that seeds exposed to Wi-Fi had a 6% higher germination rate compared to seeds with no exposure.
“I love to see students succeed, no matter on what level,” Branford FFA Advisor Anne Etcher said. “As their advisor, it is my job to support them in their efforts, push them when they need it, and celebrate them when they win. McKayden worked hard for this, and it paid off. I am extremely proud of her.”
