The Democrat Says...

Christmas on the Square

Live Oak — Christmas on the Square is one of Live Oak’s most exciting events and it kicks off tonight with a concert and fireworks display. On Saturday morning, folks will travel from all over to enjoy a day that will ignite the Christmas spirit. Booths, live music, great food and fellowship will be the highlight of the day. You will not want to miss the spectacular lighted Christmas parade which is slated to begin at 6 p.m.

Thousands of people attend this event every year, which is a result of the hard work the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce and many volunteers put into the event. If you have made the trip to Suwannee County to celebrate with us, we gladly welcome you.

The Democrat will be at booth number 209, located in front of Millennium Park on US 90. We encourage you to stop by and visit with us.

Do you think the city of Live Oak should have a city-manager form of government or leave it as a city-administrator form of government?

Change to a city-manager.
Keep it as city-administrator.
Don’t care either way.
