Lonnie L. Freeman, Jr., a resident of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Nov. 28, 2013 in Live Oak, Fla. Mr. Lonnie L. Freeman is survived by his mother, Ms. Linda Harris and father, Mr. Lonnie Freeman Sr.; sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, and many other close relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Lonnie L. Freeman, Jr. will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 2:30 in the African Baptist Church. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the D.M. Udell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the South Live Oak Cemetery. D.M. Udell and Sons are in charge of all Funeral arrangements.

Robert Owen Miller, age 77, of Jasper, Fla., passed away at his home on Monday, Nov. 25, 2013.
Mr. Miller was born in New Castle, Indiana on Jan. 9, 1936 to the late Glenn and Blanch Miller.
Miller was owner and operator of his own insurance agency for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy and Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Miller moved to the area from Coral Gables, Fla., and was a former resident of Ocala, Fla. and TX. He attended First United Methodist Church in Live Oak, Fla.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Linda Miller, Jasper; one son, Michael Miller, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two daughters, Sharon Sheehan, Rock Wall, TX. and Debra Smith, Farmersville, TX.; two step-children, Tony Martinez, Cumming, GA. and Jennifer Rembisz, Gainesville, Fla.; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Gerald Madren 78, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Bon Secours Maria Manor. Born in Burlington, NC, he came here in 1969 from High Point, NC. He was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korea Conflict. He was a member of Wallace Masonic Lodge #595 AF&AM in Wallace, NC. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Greensboro and the Egypt Temple Shrine in Tampa, Fla. He was a radio announcer for 30 years and program director for WSUN in St. Petersburg. After radio, he was a real estate salesman for Selby Real Estate in St. Petersburg. He also worked as a jewelry salesman in both Daytona Beach, FL and Live Oak, FL. He was also a greeter at Wal-Mart in Live Oak until his can collecting became his priority. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Madren. He is survived by his daughter, Donna M. (Kenneth) Johnson of St. Petersburg; his grandson, Kenneth W. (Angela) Johnson Jr. of Seminole; his grandson, Jeremy L. (Kelly) Johnson of Williston, Fla.; and five great grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Drew Johnson, Kaylynn Johnson, Tristan Johnson, and Aiden Johnson.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Masonic Home of Florida, 3201 First Street NE, St. Petersburg, Fla. 33704.
