New rural health clinic to open Jan. 7 in Jasper-Ribbon cutting ceremony is Jan. 6

Jasper — As of Monday, Dec. 2, Shands took over occupancy of the new rural health clinic in Jasper, which has been named Hamilton Primary Care Clinic. The clinic is located at 1150 US 41 NW, Suite 12 in Jasper.

According to Hamilton County Coordinator Louie Goodin, signage for the door is in progress and the ‘Opening Soon’ sign was placed at the site on Tuesday, Dec. 3. A mail-out is also in progress, which will arrive in residents’ mailboxes soon.

A ribbon cutting ceremony sponsored by Shands is planned for Monday, Jan. 6 at 4 p.m., complete with refreshments.

“On January 7 we will be open for business,” said Goodin.
