Barbara Atwell Bricker Stidham, 78, Live Oak, FL passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was born in Anderson, IN to Ray and Mildred Atwell. Barbara moved to Live Oak, FL where she worked for WB Howlands IGA for several years, then worked several more years at Texaco Food Mart before retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. 
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother: Mildred Atwell; father: Ray Atwell; step-mother: Ida Atwell; grandson: Jerry Dean Young; great-grandchildren: Cora Ratliff and Landon Bricker. Survivors include two sons: David Bricker (Susan), Live Oak, FL, Randy Bricker (Denise) Columbus, IN; five daughters: Sylvia Young (Donald) , Live Oak, FL, Anita White (Ron) Dunlap, TN, Sherry Ditton (Brian), Anderson, IN, Laura Ellis (Preston) Lake City, FL and Betty Van Devander (David), Live Oak, FL; one sister: Connie Mercer (James); 12 grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and two special children, Jayce & Katie Lee. 
A memorial service was held at 11 am on Monday, March 17th at Daniels Memorial Chapel to remember the life of Barbara Stidham. As per her request she will be cremated and her ashes will be interred at Live Oak Cemetery.

April 30, 1929 - March 20, 2014

Sarah Van Loon, age 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday morning, March 20, 2014 at Suwannee Health Care Center. She was a native of Grayson, KY moving to Live Oak in 1990 from Vero Beach, FL.  Sarah retired as manager from Hopper’s Shoe store in Vero Beach, FL and was active in PTA. Her favorite past time was fishing and raising flowers.  She was Presbyterian by faith.
