Arrest made in fatal Thanksgiving night wreck

Live Oak — Report from the Florida Highway Patrol:

The Florida Highway Patrol's Death Investigation into the fatal single vehicle crash which occurred Thursday night on 43rd Road and 280th Street, in which the driver fled the scene on foot, has led to the arrest of the unknown driver. According to preliminary findings, 27-year-old Adam James Hughes, O'Brien, who fled the scene, was located after investigative leads and he subsequently turned himself in to investigators on Friday, 11-29-2013 at approximately 5:45 P.M. He was then arrested and

booked into the Suwannee County; charged with leaving the scene of a traffic crash involving death and / or serious bodily injury. The Investigation is still ongoing and further charges are pending.
