3 council seats up for election in White Springs

Jasper — The town of White Springs is gearing up for an April 22 election for three council seats.

Candidates must pick up packets, which will be available beginning Thursday, Feb. 27, in person from town hall. All candidates must open a campaign banking account.

Additionally, candidates must be registered Hamilton County voters and must physically reside in the town of White Springs for 12 months preceding qualifying.

Qualifying for the three council seats, currently held by Helen Miller, Walter McKenzie and Richard Marshall, ends at noon on Tuesday, March 18, and books will close on March 24.
