Two from Bradenton in serious condition after motorcycle crash in Suwannee

Live Oak — Florida Highway Patrol has reported a single vehicle crash in Suwannee County on Sunday that left two people in serious condition.

Reports state that on Sunday, June 16, at 12:25 p.m. Paul David Fieber, 57, Bradenton was westbound on SR 8 (I-10) on a 2006 Honda Goldwing motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway, which caused the motorcycle to travel into the center median. The driver then lost control of the motorcycle, which overturned, ejecting the driver and passenger, Carey Mariah Fieber, 15, Bradenton, who both came to final rest in the median.

The driver was flown to Shands at UF in Gainesville by Air Methods Helicopter, and the passenger was flown to Shands UF by TraumaOne, FHP stated.

Both the driver and passenger were wearing helmets. Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $4,000. Charges are pending, according to FHP.
