White Springs Christmas parade is tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Jasper — The town of White Springs is geared up and ready for Christmas and the Special Events Committee has been working hard to get everything organized for the Annual Christmas Parade, which will take place on Friday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m.

The parade will travel down US 41 and end at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park where hotdogs, cookies and soft drinks will be served to all guests at Nelly Bly’s Kitchen. In years past, over 1,000 guests from the surrounding tri-county area have attended this free event.

The following week, Breakfast with Santa will be provided for about 75 local children in the town of White Springs, compliments of the White Springs Police Department and the Special Events Committee. The kids will enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage and juice before Santa arrives. Each child will get to sit on Santa’s lap for a photo op, so parents bring your cameras! Then Santa will give each child a Christmas present. For more information on these holiday events, contact town hall at 386-397-2310 or stop in at 10363 Bridge Street in White Springs.
