Update: 2 adults shot at Easter egg hunt

Live Oak — Two people were shot after an argument at an Easter egg hunt shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday. The hunt was on property behind African Baptist Church on Walker Avenue. The hunt was not sponsored by the church, however, the shooting happened on the church's property, according to Live Oak Police Chief Buddy Williams. According to preliminary information, the two victims may also be the suspects as it appears they became involved in an argument with each other and then shot at one another.

The two unidentified subjects were life flighted to area hospitals with gunshot injuries. Williams said the injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
