Eunice Lavearne Macera-Morse

Sept. 28, 1925 - April 1, 2014

Eunice Lavearne Macera-Morse, 88, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2014.   She was born on Sept. 28, 1925 to the late Doris Black and Mae Leggett-Black.
Eunice served as House-Parent at the Sheriff’s Boys Ranch, which she loved deeply, moved on to Administrative duties and retired after 20 years of dedication. 
Always a selfless person, she cared more for others than for herself. She loved spending time with her family, travel, and fellowship at Faith Chapel in Jasper, Fla.
Survivors include: Husband Maurice Morse of Brandon, MS; Daughter, Diane Morgan; beloved sister and brother in law; Eloise Renfroe and Ladson “Lee” Renfroe, nephew; Michael Renfroe and wife Carla, as well as many second and third generation nieces and nephews, many cousins, and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at  2 p.m. in the Boys Ranch Chapel, Live Oak, Fla. Officiating the service is Pastor Phil Wills and Pastor Ronnie Richardson.
