Live Oak —

I hope none of you readers are saying, again, " Rats! I missed the Suwannee High School play, again!"

Accolades to Ms Bass and her entire production team including parents and community support. This rendition of Broadway's: How To Succeed In Business ...was one more giant leap forward for the Arts in Suwannee County.

One word describes the spring musical - fantastic!

What an outstanding job the SHS Drama Troupe did performing "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" this past weekend. Emily Bass and play cast, all of you deserve a huge round of applause for bringing us such a professionally done musical. The sets, acting, singing and dancing were all impressive! We can't wait until next spring to find out what you all will be performing for us in Live Oak! Rave, rave, and more rave!

Talent galore in the SHS auditorium on Friday night and Saturday afternoon (March 22 & 23). This fun show included lots of singing, dancing and great acting. Eighth grade students who are being promoted to ninth grade wil be eligible to be in the SHS Drama troupe for the 13-14 school year.

If you missed the SHS Spring Musical you really missed a treat! The play was one that was funny and was a hit with the audiences. Make your plans to be available for next year's spring musical. If you would like to become a "friend of the theater" , contact Suwannee High School and speak to Emily Bass.

I attended the SHS Drama Troupe's spring musical "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" and came away absolutely amazed at the level of talent the cast had. Much praise goes to the cast of the play and their director, Emily Bass, or as some of her students address her, Miss Emily. The future looks bright for Suwannee High School's Drama department!
