HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Interstate 75 Nighttime lane closures for northbound traffic between State Road 6 (Exit 460) and the Georgia line Sunday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to resurface the inside and center lanes which requires two lanes to close. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph during lane closures. No lanes are closed from 6 a.m. Friday until 8 p.m. Sunday.

 

US 41  Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between the Columbia County line (Suwannee River Bridge) and US 129 just south of Jasper to resurface, seal bridge joints at the Swift Creek bridge and upgrade signals in White Springs.

 

US 129  Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between the western city limits of Jasper and the Georgia line to place the final layer of asphalt and install signs.

 

LAFAYETTE COUNTY:

 

County Road 354  Possible daytime lane closures between US 27 and State Road 51 (Hal Adams Bridge) to continue building a bike trail on the north and east side of the road.

On Friday, Jan. 18, the Sparkleberry Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society will participate in this year’s Florida Arbor Day Celebration by giving away free bare root Florida NATIVE trees, one to a family! The Chapter’s booth will be set up next to the Branford Town Hall on Suwannee Avenue (US 129) and will be open from 10 a.m. ‘til noon.
