Gov. Scott reappoints Mayo's Ricky Lyons to NFCC district board of trustees

Mayo — Florida Governor Rick Scott announced on Tuesday, Feb. 11, the reappointment of Ricky Lyons to the North Florida Community College District Board of Trustees.

Lyons, 55, of Mayo, is the Lafayette County Clerk of Court. He previously served as president of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, as well as the Mayo Rotary Club. Lyons received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida.

Lyons is reappointed for a term beginning Feb. 11, 2014, and ending May 31, 2017. His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
