Lucile McKellum-Lilly

 

Oct. 3, 1931 - March 20, 2014

 

Lucile McKellum-Lilly, 83, of Branford, Fla. passed away on March 20, 2014 at the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. She was born Oct. 3, 1931 in Hatchbend, Fla. to Tom and Sarah McKellum.

Lucile was educated in the public schools in Lafayette County. Later in life she moved to Suwannee County and united in holy matrimony to George Robert lily. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mr. Pisgah AME Church of Branford, Fla. Mother lily enjoyed visiting and fellowshipping with various churches in the community.

Preceding her in death: parents Tom and Sarah McKellum; five brothers, David, Jessie, MC “Hank”, Joseph, Tommie McKellum; three sisters, Eula Mae Walker, Annie C. Adams and Ethel Lee Smith.

Cherishing memories: son; Lester (Mary Ann) KcKellum, Lake City, Fla., daughter Alice Jonas, Branford, Fla; sister, Mildred McKellum, Madison, Fla.; grandchildren, Paul (Cynthia) Smith, Tallahassee, Fla.; Chauntres, Corliss McKellum, Orlando, Fla.; Monique (Dion) Burke, Daytona Beach, Fla., David McKellum, Jacksonville, Fla., Maria Pelham, Lake City, Fla., Marcell (Alicia) Pelham, Lake City, Fla.; host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends, including special friend Thelma Byrd.

Funeral services for Mother Lucile Lily will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Souls’ Harbor Church of God in Christ 901 NE Lake Drive, Lake City, Fla., superintendent M.L. Goggins, Pastor. Family viewing and visitation will be Friday, March 28, 2014 at Cooper Funeral Home, Chapel from 5-7 p.m.

Robert L. Michel

 

March 19, 2014

 

Robert L. Michel, 73, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. The Arkon, Ohio native moved to Live Oak twenty-five years ago from Ft. Meyers, Fla. 

Mr. Michel was in the Coast Guard, enjoyed fishing and attended Pine Grove Church of God. 

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Michel; step-daughters: Cari Hardison, Penny Quetel, Kim Wagner; sons: Steven Michel, Ted Michel, Danny Michel; grandchildren: Shelby Wagner, Lauren Wagner, Christian Michel and Cason Michel.
