Rant & Rave for Feb. 21

Live Oak — Holy cow? Did you realize that the new County Economic Development Director will be responsible for activities at the catalyst site? $45,000 to $60,000 per year won't be worth it to any appropriately qualified person. Looks like Randy Harris makes most of the decisions for the site. Why don't we just give him the money and get it over with. NOT!

There has been too many accidents and car crashes around here lately! People, PAY ATTENTION! You may be a great driver, but the other guy may be drunk, texting, or falling asleep, so it's up to the drivers to be vigilant and watch their surroundings. It's sad that some people just don't care, and continue to be distracted by things.

When I read online of the accident of the lady with the log truck I was stunned when I saw a photo taken by Suwannee County Fire Rescue. What I dont understand is how someone at the Suwannee Democrat could be so heartless to the families and friends of this lady to post that pic online? Seems they will be going through enough, that pic should never have been posted. No standards Democrat?? guess not!

Well here we go again. I have to agree with the other citizens of Live Oak, there are City Council Members with Personal Agendas! Note, Date and Stamp it right here, if the Chief of Police's position is made an Elected Position a current City Council member will run for the position and another Current Council member will be hired if the latter is elected. You want corruption quit looking at City Departments and start looking at the Live Oak City Council.

Councilman Yulee wants the Chief of Live Oak so bad he can taste it! He's finally up there pushing his own agenda. Well Yulee I hope it becomes an elected position and I hope you run and lose every election Sir. You do not represent me Sir.
