Morning Update for Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014

Weather:

  • Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 81. Light south wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

     
  • Wednesday Night Areas of fog after 3am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 53. Light and variable wind.

HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Hatley Street (U.S. 41) Daytime lane closures at Central Avenue to install a drainage pipe in preparation for paving a bike trail.

 

State Road 6  Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Withlacoochee River (Madison County line) for routine bridge maintenance.

 

Martin Luther King Jr. Drive The intersection with Central Avenue is closed to traffic to install a drainage pipe. Eastbound traffic is detoured south on Central Avenue SE to Fourth Street SW and north on Central Avenue back to MLK. Westbound traffic is detoured north to Central Avenue to Hatley Street and then back south on Central Avenue.

SUWANNEE COUNTY:

 

Branford Highway (State Road 247)  Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Beachville to repair shoulders.

 

U.S. 129  Daytime lane closures from U.S. 27 to the Suwannee River (Hamilton County line) to repaint roadway markings.
