AURA Music & Arts Festival is this week

Live Oak — SPIRIT OF THE SUWANNEE MUSIC PARK, LIVE OAK, FLA - It's time for AURA Music & Arts Festival Feb. 14-16 at the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Fla! Celebrating its fifth anniversary, AURA's 2014 line-up features a variety of music genres but always stays true to its live electronic roots with headliners Lotus, Papadosio and Conspirator. Also taking the stage at AURA is Zoogma, The Werks, The Revivalists, Particle, The Heavy Pets, Future Rock, Marco Benevento, Mike Dillon Band, Kung Fu, Dopapod, Stokeswood (including a Tribute Set to Hall & Oates), Superhuman Happiness, Start Making Sense: A Tribute to the Talking Heads, Earphunk, Twiddle, Jimkata and more, many of which will play two sets throughout the weekend.

Since its humble beginnings in Brooksville, AURA has become one of the premiere multi-day boutique music events in the Southeast US, attracting fans from around the country. Now comfortably at home at the famed Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, AURA comes to life in the midst of 800 acres of Spanish moss draped oak and cypress trees along the Suwannee River and utilizes one of the most beautiful natural amphitheaters in the country only made more awe-inspiring by AURA's attention to sound and lighting production.

This year AURA has added The Vibe Tent hosted by Brotherly Love Productions, which will be home to the festival's extra-musical activities including the expanded Yoga & Healing Arts Program offering more than 20 classes and workshops including: AYFit, AcroYoga, BoomYoga, Four Elements Yoga Chakra Flow, Siesta Savasana, Yoga, Meditation, Ecstatic Dance, Mantra Workshop and many others. At night, the Vibe Tent transforms into TheUNTZ.com Silent Disco featuring Luke Miller from Lotus, aka Luke the Knife, Vlad the Inhaler, brothers Sir Charles and Zak the Blak and more, as well as hosting additional music sets including Heavy Pet side-projects Fat Mannequin, Spontaneous Underground and Lather Up! and a touch of comedy.

AURA will also host its first official onsite pre-party in its five-year history. Kicking things off Thursday, Feb. 13, fans are invited to settled in at SOSMP a night early and enjoy music from three of Florida's finest bands in the scene - The Heavy Pets, Greenhouse Lounge and The Funky Nuggets. As always, AURA will feature top-tier live painters, an interactive arts village, canned food drive, and the second annual Charity Disc Golf Tournament hosted by Vibram® Disc Golf.
