Morning Update for Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014

Weather:

  • Tuesday A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly between 4pm and 5pm. Areas of dense fog before 10am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the afternoon.

     
  • Tuesday Night A 20 percent chance of showers before 9pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.

Traffic:

HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Martin Luther King Jr. Drive The intersection with Central Avenue is closed to traffic for two weeks to install a large drainage pipe. Eastbound traffic is detoured south on Central Avenue SE to Fourth Street SW and north on Central Avenue back to MLK. Westbound traffic is detoured north to Central Avenue to Hatley Street and then back south on Central Avenue.

SUWANNEE COUNTY

 

State Road 247  Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Beachville for shoulder repairs.

 

U.S. 129  Daytime lane closures from U.S. 27 to the Suwannee River to repaint roadway markings.
