Nathaniel Melvin Moore

 

Dec. 18, 1961 - Jan. 12, 2014

 

Nathaniel M. Moore, age 52, was born Dec. 18, 1961 to the late Dewey Moore and Lillie Bell Chester Kelly in Miami Dade, Fla.

He was united in holy matrimony to Miss. Schrray Fayne Rahming in 1997. He attended the public schools of Miami Dade County. He was owner of several beauty and barbershop hair nail and feet n/c cutz face to face and retail stores and Moore and Moore Roofing company.

He was a member of the Christs Abundant Life Ministries church in Malbton, GA. under the Pastorate of Leroy Rankin.

On Sunday afternoon Jan. 12, 2014 he passed away peacefully at Heritage Health Care Nursing Home in Griffin, GA.

He will be remembered by his daughter Tameka Jackson son: Devin Koon mother Lillie Bell Chester Kelly two brothers Vincent D. Moore, Keith Martin four sisters; Jeanette Williams, Brenda Floyd, Lavera Mooreall of Miami, Fla. Sandra Powell, Jacksonville, Fla.  A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousin and friends.

The family and great friends will meet friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 17, 2014 at Bennie Thomas Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Live Oak, Fla. Elder Voronica Campbell officiating. Interment will be in the Lake Butler Cemetery in Wellborn, Fla.

Bennie Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Glenda Robinson

Glenda Robinson a resident of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Jan. 6, 2014 in Shands Hospital of Live Oak, Fla. Mrs. Glenda Robinson is survived by her husband Mr. Richard Robinson, three daughters: Tracy D. Frank, Rosilyn Noble and Yolanda Frank one son: Roswell Frank and many other close relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Glenda Robinson will be Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 1 p.m. in African Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Eastside Cemetery in Live Oak, Fla. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m. in Sweet Home Baptist Church.

Barbara Ann Barnett

Barbara Ann Barnett, 76, passed away Wednesday Jan. 15, 2014 in Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Fla. following a short illness.

Mrs. Barnett was Born in Mayo, Fla. and resided in the O’Brien, Fla. area most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Union Baptist Church, O’Brien, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Barnett of O’Brien, Fla., two daughters, Denise Barnett of  O’Brien, Fla., Diane and David Pollard of O’Brien, Fla., two Sons, Wade Barnett of O’Brien, Fla., Bob and Jimmie Barnett of O’Brien, Fla., a half sister, Phyllis Joiner of Atlanta, GA., one brother, Sonny and Lana Sapp of Live Oak, Fla., a half brother , Dennis and Loretta  Sapp of Newberry, Fla., six grandchildren, Bambi, Mandy, Beau, Kristin, Shari,“ Little” Wade, 6 great grandchildren Kyla, Jagger, Zoie, Seth, Sally and Sammy .

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Union Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Humphries, Rev. Marlin Thompkins, and Rev. Roger Sumner officiating. James Floyd Fender, III

James Floyd Fender, III, 93, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, Jan.15, 2014 after a short illness. 

The Valdosta, GA native moved to Live Oak in 1969 from Valdosta, GA. Mr. Fender was a WWII Veteran while serving in the U.S. Air Force and worked for Bruce Milling Co in Valdosta, GA for 20 years. He also worked for Howland's Feed Mill in Live Oak for 42 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church. 

Mr. Fender is survived by his wife of 67 years: Billie Fender, Live Oak, Fla.; one daughter: Kathy Stapleton (Len) Live Oak, Fla.; one son: Garnett Fender (Linda) Buford, GA; six grandchildren: Preston Fletcher, Katie Fender, Ashley Fender, Alexis Fletcher, Nicky Fletcher and Aubrey Stapleton.. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. John Hay officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
