Winter storm update - Sleet and icy roads a possibility Wednesday

From the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration:
 
- Rain may mix or change to sleet across the I-10 corridor in Northeast Florida on Wednesday. Accumulations are not expected here. Lingering slick roads and black ice are possible Wednesday night and Thursday morning.  

Outlook through Friday:

  • TodayRain likely, mainly after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. North wind 8 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • TonightRain. Low around 35. North wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
  • Wednes.Rain likely before 1pm, then a chance of rain and sleet between 1pm and 4pm, then a chance of rain after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Wind chill values as low as 23. North wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Wednes.
