Gospel great Ivan Parker to hold fundraiser concert Thursday for Love INC

Concert begins at 7 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church at 920 SW 11th Street in Live Oak.

Gospel music lovers, southern gospel singer Ivan Parker will hold a live performance this Thursday at Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak to help Love in the Name of Christ (INC) raise operational funds for 2014. Ivan will perform beginning at 7 p.m. Come expecting an exciting, gospel music filled evening with one of the world’s best gospel singers.

Tickets are $10 general admission and $25 for meet and greet at 6:30 p.m. This will be a special time to meet this gospel legend. Ivan is a regular on the Gaither Homecoming series. His most famous recording/song is “Midnight Cry.” Ivan Parker CDs, shirts and other merchandise will be available before and after the concert and during intermission.

Tickets are available at Westwood Baptist Church (WBC) at 920 SW 11th St., Live Oak, or by calling WBC at 386-362-1122. Tickets are also available at Love In The Name of Christ of Suwannee County at 120 North Ohio Ave. in downtown Live Oak next to the railroad tracks or by calling 386-364-4673. Tickets will be available at the door if available.

Ivan Parker has held concerts all over the world. Ivan’s most remembered recordings include “Midnight Cry,” “That Was Then, This Is Now,” “Redeemer,” “It’s True,” “Sing,” and many, many other great Southern Gospel songs.

Love INC is a "faith based" non-profit organization in Live Oak whose mission is to mobilize the church to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ (INC). Many churches of all denominations in Suwannee County work with Love INC to provide for others.
