Mayo — On Tuesday, April 22, the GFWC Mayo Woman’s Club, with the help of Lafayette Future Farmers of America (FFA), presented five Eastern Redbud trees to Lafayette Elementary School (LES) in honor of Arbor Day and Earth Day, both of which fall in the month of April.

LES fifth grade students were more than eager to help with the planting of the trees on campus and they looked as if they really enjoyed the adventure.
