Morning Update for Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014

Weather:

  • Wednesday Rain likely before noon, then a chance of rain and sleet between noon and 3pm, then a chance of rain after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Wind chill values as low as 23. North wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

     
  • Wednesday Night A slight chance of rain showers and sleet before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Martin Luther King Jr. Drive The intersection with Central Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning Monday for two weeks to install a large drainage pipe. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south on Central Avenue SE to Fourth Street SW and north on Central Avenue back to MLK. Westbound traffic will be detoured north to Central Avenue to Hatley Street and then back south on Central Avenue.

                                              

SUWANNEE COUNTY

 

State Road 247  Daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday south of Beachville for shoulder repairs.

 

U.S. 129  Daytime lane closures from U.S. 27 to the Suwannee River to repaint roadway markings.
