SUV flipped Wednesday at CR 137 and US 90, minor injury reported

No serious injuries were reported after an SUV overturned on US 90 East at CR 137 around 4:45 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. 

According to a FHP report, Cora Jean Freed, 78, Live Oak, was traveling west on US 90 when the 2007 Ford SUV she was driving struck debris in the roadway causing the SUV to rotate counter clockwise and overturn off the south shoulder of US 90 at CR 137. The SUV came to a final rest on the driver side facing east.

Freed, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries. 

Suwannee County Fire/Rescue personnel at the scene said the woman was able to get out of the vehicle through the windshield which was removed by SCFR.
