Linda R. Smith, 61, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The Jacksonville, Fla. native was the owner/operator of Merle Norman and was a member of Altrusa. 
She is survived by her husband: Denzil Smith, Live Oak, Fla.; one son: Charles "Andy" Byers, Lakeland, Fla.; four daughters: Tabitha (Clint) Bennett, Mayo, Fla., Charlotte (Gene) Smith, Live Oak, Fla., Leona Smith (Jacob Ziner), Live Oak, Fla., Danielle (Dwayne) Greene, Lake City, Fla.; sister: Bernice Annette Lopez, Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers: Kenneth Clifton, Lake City, Fla., Richard Clifton, Mulberry, Fla. and thirteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister: Ethel Maxine Wallis. 
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at Daniels Memorial Chapel with interment following in Futch Cemetery at Philadelphia Baptist Church.

America Sandra Heredia - Berry “Sandy”
 
Sept. 30, 1945 - May 23, 2014
 
Sandy Berry, 68, of Branford passed away on Friday, May 23 at Haven Hospice. Ms. Berry was born in Manhattan, NY, to America Teresa Gonzales and Jose Raul Heredia.
At  age 13, the family moved to Miami, FL where Sandy graduated from Miami Senior High School and Mount Sinai School of Practical Nursing. Sandy worked 25 years for Miami Children’s Hospital in medical surgical, oncology, neurology, neonatal and pediatric intensive care. While living in the Homestead area, Sandy was a member of South Dade Baptist Church and was an active leaders in Awana and Girl Scouts. After moving to the Branford area, she worked in various nursing positions. Graduating from St. Leo University, Lake City, Sandy later taught CNA training.
From 1991 to 2012, Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church of Branford, invovled in Awana, Girl Scouts, Camp Nurse, Sunday school and Children’s Choir. She was presently a member of Ichetucknee River Baptist Church and involved in the Girl Scouts. Sandy was in the Girl Scouts for over 60 years.
