Shirley A. Umstead, 73, of Live Oak, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at her home. The homemaker was a native of Sanderson, Fla. living most of her life in Live Oak. She was a member of the Pinegrove United Methodist Church in Live Oak. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly & James Paulk of Live Oak; two sons, James Umstead of Jasper and Paul & Kristy Umstead of Live Oak; two sisters, Gwen Wilhoite and Robin Martell both of Live Oak; two brothers, Kenneth Thornton of Glen St. Mary and Ronnie Thornton of Green Cove Springs; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and expecting the third great-grandchild in Nov.

Graveside funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Pinegrove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Rhodes officiating. Please sign the guest book at danielsfuneralhome.com

Marilyn Jean Lowe Crowley

 

Feb. 13, 1945 - May 13, 2014

 

Marilyn Jean Lowe Crowley, 69, a long time resident of O’Brien, Fla., passed peacefully away at North Florida Regional Medical Center, Gainesville, Fla. in early afternoon hours of 13 May 2014. Marilyn was surrounded and comforted by her loving husband and daughter at the time of her passing. Marilyn waged a long and brave fight but finally succumbed to the complications of Renal Cancer. 

Marilyn was born in Pensacola, Fla. on 13 Feb. 1945, the eldest child of Norman and Emma (Clawson) Lowe. Marilyn has two siblings, Sharyn Sullenger and Joe Lowe, who survives her. Both of Marilyn’s parents have preceded her in death. 

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Paul Crowley; daughter: Debra Ann (Crowley) Kleinsmith; daughter: Karin Aline (Crowley) McLearn; daughter: Phyllis (Crowley) McFrann; daughter: Denise Jean (Crowley) Shears; son: John Harris Crowley. She is also survived by her son in law Lance O. Kleinsmith, fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
