Traffic:

HAMILTON COUNTY:

 

Central Avenue SW  The road is closed to through traffic from Eighth Street SW to the southern city limits in Jasper for work on improving the drainage system and preparation for construction of a paved bike and walking trail.

 

Interstate 75  Daytime lane closures of the southbound outside emergency lane just south of the Georgia line Wednesday and Thursday for soil borings in preparation for installation of new signs.

 

LAFAYETTE COUNTY:

 

State Road 51  Daytime lane closures Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hal Adams Bridge located three miles north of Mayo for routine bridge inspection.

 

U.S. 27  The road will be temporarily closed Friday, October 25 from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. between Hawkins Avenue and Bloxham Street in Mayo for the Lafayette High School homecoming parade. Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office will detour traffic.          

 

SUWANNEE COUNTY:

 

U.S. 129  Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. just north of Interstate 10 to allow new driveways and access into the Penn Oil truck stop.
